Tired of rabidly partisan Democrats and radical leftists dominating the environmental agenda and dictating what America's priorities should be:  Support ‘The Environment and The Republic’ project.

Why You Should Support ‘The Environment and The Republic’ Project

Our goal is to inform and educate the American people about common environmental concerns and to challenge the misguided and harmful leftist Democrat monopoly on environmental activism and advocacy.

The American environment belongs to all of us; most of what constitutes the American environment is a wide-ranging combination of shared assets. While acknowledging and continuing to respect our nation’s longstanding tradition of private property rights, we must also recognize the air we breathe, the rivers that flow through our land, the oceans that surround our coastlines, the earth underneath our great national parks - we all own together, as part of America’s great public commons. As citizens of the United States, we have a mutual responsibility for the stewardship of the American environment, an obligation that extends to the public open spaces and streets of America's cities and towns and includes crime and public safety as preeminent environmental concerns, equal in importance to a desire and need for healthy air, clean water, and toxic-free soil.

Today, leftist and liberal activists dominate the environmental movement. The most influential advocates include financial benefactors comprising an assortment of likeminded billionaires, millionaires, trust fund babies, socialites, and celebrities who use their wealth to fund beneficiary groups, typically made up of radicalized individuals, best described as malcontent-reprobate Marxist revolutionaries - who are often the most vocal and aggressive in their persuasion efforts; all aligned with and working in close coordination with the Democratic Party.

Many of these environmental activists espouse elitist-globalist beliefs, an admiration for socialism, and a perspective poisoned by this mindset. An attitude manifested as collective expressions of contempt for a large segment of the citizenry who do not share their views and whose environment they claim to want to protect, and further revealed by an overt hostility toward, opposition to, and disdain for an economic system responsible for unprecedented levels of prosperity benefitting hundreds of millions of Americans and billions of people throughout the world, that being, a regulated form of free market capitalism designed and intended to meet the needs of the people.

Who put the likes of Al Gore, John Kerry, Jane Fonda, Greta Thunberg, and

George Soros in control of the American environment?

The current cadre of so-called environmental advocates, including the individuals mentioned above, seem to be entirely disconnected from the daily quality-of-life concerns of the average American citizen, lacking in commonsense, unwavering in their adherence to climate change alarmist dogma, and philosophically inclined toward one political party.

It’s not a coincidence that almost all the environmental movement’s leaders are climate change alarmists and partisan, leftist Democrats; it is prejudice by design with support for the ideology of climate change alarmism, going hand in hand with support for the Democrats’ consistently unpopular big government spending schemes. A big government philosophy that has adopted once widely rejected Marxist socio-economic and cultural goals as a set of priorities deceitfully repackaged into the green agenda, an environmental agenda that, in the name of saving the planet by fighting climate change, seeks to justify restricting resource development and other forms of economic growth in Republican-leaning 'red states' to the benefit of America’s foreign competitors. A policy that enables the Democrats to weaken the economies of said ‘red states’ and financially harm the population residing in them who often vote against and oppose the interests of the present-day, left-leaning Democratic Party. In this way, the Democrats and the left have attempted to weaponize the environmental movement to meet their political ends with minimal benefit to the actual environment.

The well-being of the American environment, including the prioritization of environmental concerns and advocacy initiatives, should not be dictated to the American people without their input and consent, nor should it be determined by an elitist group of people, especially an elitist group of individuals who have proven themselves to be nakedly partisan and hostile to the interests of a large segment of their country’s population.

How Did We Get Here?

The past few decades or last 40 years or so, as a result, perhaps of being more focused on winning the Cold War, robust economic growth, and fighting a war against global terrorism, Republicans, politically and financially, have taken a more laissez-faire approach to environmental advocacy.

While many Republicans, Conservatives, and Libertarians from all walks of life, including elected officials, business leaders, and everyday citizens - through their actions and behavior - have demonstrated a longstanding commitment to supporting environmental stewardship and pragmatic environmental conservation policy - most are typically not activists, who spend their days obsessing over and organizing around a sensationalized environmental concern or exaggerated claim of impending environmental-doom. A tactic consistently employed by radical eco-leftist Democrats with much success.

On the other hand, most Republicans, Conservatives, and Libertarians prefer to spend their time on other worthy pursuits, such as productive professional work, enjoying the company of family and friends, or actually taking care of the environment - whether it be within the confines of their home/yard, a larger property like a farm or ranch or tract of forested land, or even a public natural space in need of some attention in the form of a community volunteer cleanup effort.

The Laissez-Affair Approach to Environmental Advocacy Isn’t Working.

For Republicans, Conservatives, and Libertarians, a general apathy and a laissez-faire mindset toward environmental advocacy have enabled a cadre of rabidly partisan Democrats and radical leftists to dominate America’s environmental policy agenda by granting this group a virtually uncontested outsized influence over determining what America's environmental concerns should and shouldn't be.

The neglect and lack of attention to environmental advocacy by Republicans, Conservatives, and Libertarians have resulted in the radical left defining and dictating the terms of environmental advocacy in the U.S. and much of the world. A situation indicative of a de facto advocacy monopoly brought about by the left's hijacking and domination of the American environmental movement.

It is time to challenge this monopoly. It’s time (to begin) to Fight Back!

Republicans, Conservatives, and Libertarians can no longer sit on the sidelines and allow the Democrats / Leftists a free hand in dictating the terms of environmental advocacy in the U.S.

We have seen where that has gotten us:

A green agenda, and all its present-day despair and future negative consequences, rapidly approaching on the horizon.
The deceptively named 'Inflation Reduction Act' a law passed by Congress and signed by President Biden in 2022 - with projected costs (to be) over a trillion dollars in the years ahead.
A war on affordable energy and America's energy independence, a commitment to limiting the use of fossil fuels and restrict future development of these essential resources, and limiting use and development of nuclear energy.
An incandescent light bulb ban and an ever-expanding list of other proposed product bans, including vehicles and large appliances. The very products essential to improving the average American’s quality of life for generations.
Products at risk of being banned as part of the green agenda include but are not limited to:
•    Vehicles using gas-powered combustion engines (cars, trucks, farm equipment, etc.)
•    Gas-powered gardening and landscaping equipment (lawnmowers and leaf blowers)
•    Gas stoves and ovens in our homes and businesses (restaurants)
•    Gas space heaters and clothing dryers
•    Gas water heaters and boilers
•    Air conditioning and ceiling fans
•    Dishwashers and washing machines
A proposed prohibition of products that have greatly improved the standard of living for most of the modern civilized world over the past 150 years
while at the same time advocating and pushing for:
•    The planned industrialization of ocean coastal areas via the installation of thousands of wind turbine electricity generating towers, deceivingly referred to as wind farms, whose initial stages of implementation and preparation for construction, appears to correlate with an unprecedented increase in whale mortality along the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic coasts of the United States.
•    Continued expansion of land-based wind turbine generation, a practice responsible for the deaths of thousands of birds, a slaughter of avian wildlife that will only increase as additional wind turbine towers constructed along migratory pathways continue to harm birds and other flying creatures.
•    Destruction of forested land and other natural areas, in addition to farmland, to facilitate large-scale solar power electricity generation utilizing thousands of acres of land for solar panels.

All the above part of a leftist-Democrat agenda determined to limit the material prosperity of hundreds of millions of Americans through a policy of punitive environmentalism, intended to degrade the quality of life and simultaneously dramatically increase the cost of living of the average citizen; all the while, neglecting and refusing to recognize public open space safety and crime as priority environmental concerns.

We’re going to be intelligent, not stupid.

I am asking you to contribute $10 to $20 to a worthy cause, 'The Environment and The Republic,' as a means of empowerment.
